An international operation coordinated by Interpol has resulted in the arrest of 95 individuals suspected of producing and distributing child sexual exploitation and abuse material. According to a Thursday statement, the six-month operation, conducted between March and September 2026, spanned 17 countries across Latin America and Europe.

Authorities targeted platforms and cryptocurrencies used to groom children, coordinate abuse, connect offenders, and receive payments for illegal content. Of the arrested suspects, 89 percent were male and 11 percent were female. Among those detained are the parents of a five-year-old victim, accused of producing and selling abuse material of the child online.
